Kerry vs. Clinton, abortion, torture (good!), and terror

More evidence: John Kerry looks to be running for president again in '08. It looks like he'll have to face Hillary. Hillary will probably win that fight.

In that second article, on Hillary, there's this remarkable quote from President Clinton after vetoing the ban on partial-birth abortion: "I wanted to sign it. But the president is the only place in this system of ours where there's one person who can stand up for people with no voice and no power who are going to be eviscerated."

Like those unborn (I mean partially-born) children!

Cal Thomas writes about the use of torture, which is sometimes justified - and, in fact, the right thing to do.

Tom Friedman reflects on the battle against Islamic terrorists, which we are slowly winning.
